What we love about this home
This contemporary three bedroom estate lies in vineyard clad foothills of southern Sonoma Valley. The main house features a massive open floorplan living area featuring the kitchen, dining area, and living room.
The living room sofas and chairs face a gas fireplace and TV, and sliding glass doors frame a view of the pool and the vineyards beyond. A cozy media room lies steps away, ideal for watching movies and gaming.
The kitchen has ample counter space for prepping meals, a gas range for cooking, and a comfortable central island with bar stool seating for five. A spacious butlers pantry can absorb plenty of supplies for a large group.
A long dining room table lies a short distance away, with seating for ten. Stepping outside through the sliding glass doors, one arrives at a long deck area, entirely covered for shade, with a grill and a table with seating for ten.
Just past the deck is the swimming pool with a pool house. You’ll find ample chaise lounges for sun tanning, and a jacuzzi spa area for extra pampering.
A whimsical winding crushed stone path leads from the pool to a hidden glen that is home to a tree house, a pickleball court with basketball hoop, and a classic bocce ball court. A family could spend hours outdoors between engaging in various sports and games, and cooling off in the pool.
The main house contains three bedrooms, two primary suites with king sized beds and ensuite bathrooms, and one bunk room with four bunk beds, and an ensuite bathroom.
Conveniently located just three miles west of historic Sonoma Plaza with its celebrated restaurants and shops.
Guests staying at Alderwood will enjoy access to BeautifulPlaces pre-arrival assistance. Our local staff can assist with pre-trip suggestions for winery visits, private chef dinners and any other special experiences you desire. On arrival day you’ll find a bottle of local wine and gourmet coffee waiting for you in your villa, and our team is available during your stay to answer any questions you have.
House Rules
This property is subject to local regulations governing vacation rental properties. Under local law, events, parties and outdoor amplified music are not allowed. Overnight and day time occupancy is limited to 10 guests, and rental guests must observe quiet hours between 9:00pm and 9:00am. Any request for a pet to stay on the property must be approved by the owner, and an additional $250 cleaning fee, per pet, applies. This fee does not apply to service animals. Note that the pool is not fenced or covered, and is heated only between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
